Trey’s Automotive is a one-man mobile mechanic business based in St. Louis, MO. Owner Tristan Kottemann has spent his whole career as a mechanic seeing a common need: car care that is both reliable and affordable. One shouldn’t have to be sacrificed for the other, and so in 2025 Trey’s Automotive was born to fill that need.

Tristan has been passionate about cars since he was a kid, often working on cars with his grandfather and then starting his own projects as a teenager. He has since turned that passion into a career, where he has worked professionally as a mechanic since 2018. He has experience working on dozens of car brands, performing maintenances, repairs, and modifications.

When he’s not in the garage, you can find Tristan hanging out with his wife Elizabeth and their dog Bronson, playing games with friends, or volunteering at church. But don’t worry, he’s usually in the garage.
